Diehl Food Ingredients is capable of producing a variety of dried
products for U.S. and International customers. We currently have two spray dryers of different designs and special capabilities and
a complete facility for dry formulations, blending and packaging.

Spray Drying Capabilities
- Our dryers are constructed to produce product of a wide density range with minimum amount of fine particles.
- During homogenization particles of fat are reduced in size to 2 microns for excellent creaming.
- Product can be pasteurized.
- Product can be packaged in 50 lb and 25 kg bags, super sacs, and tote boxes.
Foam Drying Capabilities
- Gas injection into liquid dairy or non-dairy mixture before spray drying.
- Very low bulk density of finished powder creates premium foaming properties when added to coffee
or hot chocolate.
Dry Blending Capabilities
- Our dry blending facility is separate from the main production facility and houses two ribbon blenders with a 4,000 pound capacity per blend.
- Separate lines are used for blending high color/flavored products from no color/low flavor.
- A small 500 pound blender is available for making "key" mixes.
Fluid Handling Capabilities
- 360,000 pounds raw fluid capacity.
- 640,000 pounds finished fluid capacity.
- Production and pilot scale membrane processing equipment including Reverse Osmosis (RO) and
Ultra Filtration (UF).
