DIEHL ORGANICS™

Applying over 50 years of spray-dried powder experience, Diehl Food Ingredients has developed patent-pending technology which combines both formulation and processing technology to produce Diehl Organics™, a new line of stable organic certified powdered systems. The new commercial products fall into two categories:

Jerzee® Organic — Creaming Agents Dairy-based creaming agents that use organic oils and skim milk solids and come in convenient dry powdered forms. These products are both trans-fat free and cholesterol free and will add creaminess, opacity, body and a milky flavor to a wide variety of food and beverage systems. The current commercial forms are based on palm oil and are available in both 35% fat and 50% fat versions.

JerzeeŽ Organic creaming agents can be used as key building blocks for formulating various dry-based organic foods and beverages including coffee creamers, cappuccinos, hot chocolates, chai-tea beverages, smoothies, nutritional drinks, soups, and sauces.
Centennial® Organic — Powdered Vegetable Shortenings Powdered vegetable shortenings based on organic oils and skim milk solids that come in convenient dry powdered form. These products are trans-fat free and cholesterol free and allow a very high level of fat to be added to dry-based products, thus avoiding having to use liquid or plastic fats and oils. The current commercial forms are based on either palm oil or olive oil and contain 73% fat.

Centennial® Organic powdered vegetable shortenings can be used to create many new organic products like baking mixes (breads, muffins, pizza crusts), dry based potato products, spice and seasoning blends, soups, and sauces, to name but a few end-use applications.
